LI Deputy President, Prof. Karl-Heinz Paque, articulated a powerful vision during the congress: "Latin America should no longer be governed by the left or the right. The people of this continent need a strong democratic liberalism at the centre." His message resonated deeply with the attendees, emphasizing the need for a robust democratic liberalism that transcends traditional political divides.

Key Milestones and Future Plans

The congress was a pivotal event, marking the last major liberal gathering in the region before LI’s 64th congress in Chile this November. Hosted by LI full members Evopoli and Partido Liberal de Chile, the upcoming congress promises to further solidify liberal values across the continent.
